Alpha

7:00pm, Tuesday Nights from 16th April 2024 – 4th June 2024

Everyone is Welcome!

We find ourselves constantly looking for answers to bigger and deeper questions in life. But what we don’t realise, is that we are not alone in this. Have you tried Alpha yet?

Everyone has questions. We should have the opportunity to explore life and faith where we can freely ask questions and share our point of view.

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring life and the Christian faith. Alpha is run all around the globe in homes, workplaces, churches, pubs and cafes. Now it is in our café and you are invited. So regardless of your life experience, background, religion or viewpoint you are welcome at Alpha. It is a safe place to explore the meaning of life and provides an opportunity to meet some great people, share a home-cooked meal and join in a judgement free, open conversation around some of life’s biggest questions. You can see a short clip HERE.

30 million people globally have done Alpha including adventurer Bear Grylls.
The renowned survivalist, best-selling author and TV host said, “Alpha was my greatest adventure.” Bear Grylls invites you to join Alpha and share the adventure HERE.

Alpha includes three key elements: food, a talk and good conversation.

First up there is food. It is a relaxed way to make new friends and connect with like-minded people who are on the same journey.

Then there is a talk. The talks are short video presentations designed to engage and inspire conversation. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as, Is There More To Life Than This?, Who is Jesus?, How Can We Have faith?, Why and How Do I Pray? and How Does God Guide Us? You can see one of the Alpha Talks HERE.

Followed by an open discussion. The small group discussion is the best part of Alpha as you get the chance to share your thoughts and ideas. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say. In fact, at Alpha you can ask anything. No question is too minor or too big to discuss. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.

You can watch a short clip that shows what to expect on Alpha HERE.
