DESCRIPTION:Making the decision to follow Jesus is the most important step you will ever take—but it’s just the beginning of a lifelong journey! You might be wondering\, Where do I start? How do I pray? What does God actually want for my life? \nYou don’t have to figure it out alone. Join us for the Foundations course\, a relaxed\, informal environment designed specifically for new believers. Over 8 weeks\, we’ll watch a video and talk over the basics of the Christian faith\, and discover how to live out God’s amazing plan for your life. Whether you made a decision last week or last year\, this is your space to grow\, connect with others on the same journey\, and get practical tools for your daily life. No perfect backgrounds required\, and no question is off-limits.! \nWe’ll talk about all the basics and get underneath the jargon to understand the heart of God\, and his plans for you\, including: \n\nWho is this God we serve?\nWhat is God’s plan for our lives?\nHow does God’s Word shape our lives?\nWho is the Holy Spirit?\nWhy is prayer important and how should I pray?\nAnd much more!\n\nThis course\, run by a team of dedicated facilitators\, provides a space to ask questions and grow together. These interactive sessions will inspire you to go deeper with God and strengthen your relationship with Him. We would encourage you to attend all 8 sessions to get the most out of the experience\, and some light homework between sessions will help reinforce what you learn. \nFoundations will commence Sunday 19th July and concludes Sunday 6th September 2026. (8 sessions).
