On Sunday, August 9th, Ps Jasmine Crennan asked a very important question: is there any discrepancy between our public and private personas? Jasmine explored Matthew 6:1-18 and how it speaks to authenticity and intentionality. She encouraged us to ask ourselves whether we pray more frequently and more fervently when alone with God than in public; whether we love the secret place of prayer; whether our public praying is the overflow of our private praying; what are we thinking about whilst praying in public; and when we pray in public, are we focussed on God, or how our prayer sounds to others?
We pray that this message blesses you, encourages you and ultimately draws you closer to our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
