On Sunday, October 25th, REV Youth took over the service! We had our Youth Pastor, Ty Thakur, bring a timeless message about being Grounded in the Gospel. Exploring the parable of the sower in Luke 8:4-15, Ty led us through the four types of heart conditions spoken about in the parable, represented through the metaphor of a seed falling among soil: a hard-heart (the path), a shallow heart (the rock), a distracted heart (the thorns), and an open heart (the good soil). Ty encouraged us to ask God, “What is the condition of my heart?” and to respond accordingly. Endeavouring to be soft and open hearted towards the gospel.
We pray that this message blesses you, encourages you and ultimately draws you closer to our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
